Driving Sustainable Water Solutions
During the leadership panel discussion, our Director highlighted the need for the WASH sector to move beyond infrastructure-focused approaches toward measurable, performance-driven outcomes. Integrating ESG frameworks, ESG audits, and Output-Based Financing (OBF) can help align investments with real impact — from improved water quality and reduced non-revenue water to aquifer recharge and energy-efficient treatment systems.
By embedding water risk management and climate resilience into ESG frameworks, the WASH sector can evolve from a basic utility service into a strategic sustainability priority that attracts responsible, impact-oriented capital.
We thank Dr. Surajit Chakraborty, the organizers, moderator, fellow panellists, and students for creating a vibrant platform for dialogue through the Blue Round Table, innovation pitches, and presentations.
